Traditional pricing model passes through the wholesale rates that we are charged by VISA/MC/AMEX/DISC. Each card type has its own published interchange rate determined by the brand. These fees are charged to cover risk, fraud, and other association fees. Your effective rate is total fees divided by monthly sales volume.
